At last I can say that we have "almost finished" costumes for the WCS Russia preliminaries. My armor was finished yesturday, I installed all the decor. Though I'm not very pleased with it (could have made better! But in the hindsight it is always easier then it was IRL), but it looks... well - REAL *__* So I love it.

finished making his armor and there is only decoration left. But it still looks SO great!..
We both need to trim our cloaks and finish making our swords (well, their handguards). But still - we're so close!.. I am really happy with it, 'cause in the beginning of all this story, befor the selection even, I've had a horrble nightmare, that we have to go to the scene in 2 hours and we have NOTHING finished (except my wig and half-sewed cloaks, as far as I remember).
And we made most of our stage set, too. Hope to finish it on Friday, for today I'm busy with my child, and tomorrow Desler and me go to our fencing teacher premier performance of new "Mushketeers" (everybody cheer Andrei Ryklin!

).
And of course on Saturday we'll work ourselfs to the bone finishing everything. And we still need to have at least 1 hour fencing practice: anime-based armor, cloaks and real steel swords with anime-designed guards and handles are tend to make known fighting scheme quite a challange. And did I mention wigs? I just love long hair on fighting characters.
After yesturday's armor making my hands are still green and gold (thanks to acrilic paint), and I've got a lot of small burns from glue gun. I do love cosplay ^_^
